Welcome to the Brookwood Cheerleaders Association

Dear BCA Parents and Allstars,
This has been a great and wonderful year and again I feel so blessed to have been a part of this wonderful experience.   We are getting ready for our final competition of the 2009-2010 season and I am so excited but also sadden at the same time.   The closing of each year is sad at the thought of not getting to see all those wonderful faces of the kids I have grown so very fond of over the last months but with the closing of this season I have made some difficult decisions.  Galveston Nationals will be my last competition as a BCA coach.  The last 17 years have been filled with such wonderful memories and not quite sure what I am going to do without BCA as a major part of my lifestyle.  I consider myself a very blessed individual as I have been lucky enough to watch many wonderful young ladies grow up and to have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful parents.  Each of the athletes has captured a special place in my heart and will always be special to the "Hicks" family.I am leaving with nothing but great memories and a load of wonderful friends.  I owe each of you the deepest gratitude for accepting us into your lives and making me feel complete.   Special thanks to the BCA family and the wonderful athletes and parents for always being there for me and my family during good and bad times, for your support and loyalty and allowing me to do what I LOVE so very much for such a long time.

I may not be here in body but my soul now and forever belongs to BCA.  God Bless each of you and your families and may your future be filled with nothing but great and wonderful things.  I will never forget you and love each of you dearly.
